Listed below are the open positions available:

Title: Promoter
Location: Various (incl. Charlotte, Atlanta, DC, Miami, Boston, New York)
Hours: Part-Time (days/evenings)
Salary Range: Commission
Pre-Requisites: Preferably a BA/BS, 21+
Job Description: HiJinx Records is looking for Area Promoters to uncover, develop, and manage dj bookings, event promotions, and street team activities in a most major metropolitan areas. This candidate will spend lots of time listening to and understanding the various styles of dance music, as well as the appropriate styles for DJ’s on the HiJinx Records artist roster. He/She will also work closely with the label management, DJ’s, other area promoters, club owners, lounge managers, etc. This candidate will want to be very outgoing and comfortable prospecting by telephone. This person will also want to be savvy using Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and email. The ideal candidate will also have an extended reach in social networking organizations such as MySpace, Bebo, or YouTube.

Hours: Part-Time
Salary Range: n/a (Commission possible)
Pre-Requisites: University or College Student
Job Description: HiJinx Records is looking for outgoing and energetic university or college students interested in learning the ins and outs of the music business. This job will entail a variety of duties including assisting the label management with contracts, prospecting, marketing communications materials, and Internet promotions. This candidate will get to work closely with DJ’s, Producers, and other artists. Commissionable opportunities are available.
